Dan was raised on a mixed farm near Dodsland, Saskatchewan. Early on, he discovered a passion for welding and taught the skill throughout high-school. After graduating, he was employed in the logging industry for two years. He then began working in the production side of the oil industry. He married his wife, Cindy, in 1994, and together they started Dancin Oilfield Services two years later. In 1998, Dancin became a limited company. Dan relishes outdoor activities and owns a fly-in fishing camp in Northern Saskatchewan, known as Pilot’s Lodge. In his spare time, he enjoys hanging out with his family and participating in hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and various sports.

Cindy grew up on a farm near Mayfair, Saskatchewan. She received a certificate in office administration in 1993 and has been involved in office administration since then. Before coming to Kindersley, she was employed by various offices in North Battleford. After coming to Kindersley, she continued her work in local offices, and then founded Dancin Oilfield Services with her husband, Dan. Since then, she has been deeply involved in the administration of the company. Her areas of expertise are accounting and managing safety protocol. In her spare time, she enjoys yard work, gardening, and spending quality time with her family.
